Rice has been traditionally grown in Thailand for more than 4,500 years. The nature-centred philosophy has been passed down through generations, by upholding age-old traditions and respecting the environment. Rice is considered a sacred grain in Thailand.
The rice we sell primarily comes from rice fields grown on a plateau 460 meters in altitude, near the Golden Triangle in the north of Thailand. The warm and humid climate are necessary for the rice to thrive. Intense sunlight gives it an abundance of flavour.
